Henry Crowe - Junior Golfer

Growing up my earliest memories revolve around playing sports. Whether it was kicking a soccer ball in the backyard, hitting tennis balls against the garage, chipping golf balls around the local park, or playing catch with my older brother, sports have always been an integral part of my life. I was introduced to sports at a young age by my parents who are both avid sportspersons and believe in the importance of physical activity. My father is a former New Zealand professional cricket player and Captain of his country’s team. My mother has always enjoyed playing multiple sports at a recreational level.  My sports journey began with simple games with my parents and brother. As I grew older I joined local sports teams starting with soccer and baseball and at age five I began competing in golf and tennis tournaments. 

My team/family has supported me since I started playing competitive golf at 5 years old. My older brother Oscar, has always encouraged me to work hard so that I remain competitive with him. My father has instilled in me that to be successful in sports I must continue to perfect my game and push myself to improve. My grandparents are two of my biggest cheerleaders always supporting my accomplishments and encouraging me through my challenges. My mother has not only spent many hours driving me to tournaments but is always there cheering me on. Their support has made me put 100% in everything I do because I know they believe in me.
